On May 1st our family is participating in the Walk for Life. It is an event to raise money for the Women’s Resource Clinic here in Chico. It is a great ministry that focuses on providing information to women. They offer resources, counseling and support before and after whatever decision young women ultimately make. I realize this is rather impersonal, but I wanted to put it out there for anyone who may be interested in pledging. Below is a copy of the pledge sheet, please consider sponsoring us with a pledge if you’re able. It’s just a flat rate type sponsorship thing. Not like you pledge per lap or mile or whatever (good thing I wouldn’t generate any money). If you’re interested please send me an email. There are several billing methods we can work out.
No pressure at all, but just think, you can feel good giving to a great cause without the guilt and calories that come from buying cookies or cookie dough like many other fundraisers! : ]

Apparently Chico has the highest abortion rate in the state and only one pro-life clinic.
