Why are all comments moderated?

I place a very high priority on the quality of content on this site. In my experience I have learned that there are people out there who sometimes have malicious intentions. I feel it is my responsibility to be diligent in protecting DoF's readers from such attacks. There may also be times when I discern that a comment is either inappropriate or Structurally incorrect. Occasionally I may choose to address these instances at a one on one level rather than a site forum.

How do I get added to DoF’s notification list?
