Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, the national holiday where we are supposed to reflect and be thankful for the things in our lives. Friends, family, health and security are among the top of most everyone’s Thanksgiving list. We too are thankful for all those blessings but what we are most thankful for this year is God’s love and our salvation.
We take comfort and are humbled by the fact that God loves us and has chosen us to help further his kingdom. As we grow together in Christ, our gratitude deepens and daily we see God blessing us. We are thankful for a strong, God centered marriage, two beautiful children, and an extended family that loves us and supports us. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to minister to others in person and on the pages of this blog. We are truly blessed to have God’s fingerprints all over our lives.
We aren’t free from storms (trials and troubles), but even storms are cause for thankfulness and joy. (James1:2) As long as we keep Christ as our compass and trust in Him, we believe God’s Word that He will see us through and help us endure (James 1:2-18).
We ask for you prayers of safe travel, for us and everyone who will be traveling this week.
Happy Thanksgiving and may God bless you.
-Tyler & Alethea
